I strongly feel that any local sports fan with half a brain knows that WEEI is for the birds. 98.5 The Sports Hub absolutely blows it out of the water. So, Glenn Ordway being fired should come as no surprise to anyone. As a matter of fact, I sort of respect the hell out of WEEI for canning him. They know The Sports Hub is crushing them in the ratings. Toucher and Rich (Sports Hub) vs. Dennis and Callahan (WEEI) is the biggest mismatch in sports talk radio history. Gresh and Zo (Hub) vs. Mut and Merloni (WEEI) also favors The Sports Hub which is sad because Gresh and Zo is the programs weakest link. Finally, Felger and Mazz beat out Ordway. I never really had a problem with Ordway until he started ranting about a picture of Tom Brady's son that was posted on BarstoolSports.com. The picture was harmless and Ordway was hotting and hollering about how it was child pornography and a bunch of other nonsense. Glenn Ordway and everybody at WEEI is just too boring and geared toward the older listener, and that is why they get killed in the ratings. A perfect is example is comparing the two morning shows. If you wake up and listen to Dennis and Callahan you'll feel inclined to go directly back to bed and continue sleeping. Toucher and Rich, however, are so hilarious that you won't even mind going to school or work. It's amazing, really. So basically the point of what I'm saying is that WEEI sucks balls. Viva la Sports Hub!
